We take Jesus’ commandment to take the message of the good news to all the world very seriously. Community church not only supports our missionaries and mission programs financially, but as a church that truly believes in the power of prayer, we pray continuously for the physical and spiritual well-being of our missionaries, and for protection for them and their families, and guidance and blessing of their ministry. They provide safe, secure living environments, through transitional housing and emergency shelter, in residential neighborhoods that allow women to go to school, work, and care for themselves and their children. www.wingsprogram.com  Pacific Garden Mission Since 1877, Pacific Garden Mission has been a refuge. Millions weary of struggling through life's storms, have come to the "Old Lighthouse” seeking food, shelter, clothing, medical, and dental care. They also came seeking the answer to life’s struggles. They are offered the answer: life through faith in Jesus Christ. www.pgm.org Camp Good News (A Christian camp for low income children near Peoria) In 1955, 27 acres of land in rural Washington, Illinois were given to Child Evangelism Fellowship for the sole purpose of ministering to children. Since that time, Camp Good News has reached thousands of children with the gospel message of Jesus Christ. The CEF camp staff is committed to teaching the Word of God to the children and, to building relationships that show the love of Christ.
