Just as in the Old Testament the Israelites were commanded to teach their children God’s law; Jesus spoke in the New testament of the importance of teaching our children about Him and our Father in Heaven. The New Testament also reveals to us the importance of continued growth and maturing in our faith throughout our life. Spiritual growth is a continual, gradual lifelong process. “...and I am sure that God who began the good work within you will continue His work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again!” ---Phil. 1:6
